6 Turn the dial as shown in the illustration to remove
the jammed original.
7 Close the left cover to its original position.
Reset all the originals and start copying again.
Optional Cassette (J12 to J16, J22 to J24)
When the paper misfeed has occurred in the optional cassette, use the procedure below to clear it.
1 Remove the left cover of the cassette being used.
2 If a sheet of paper is jammed inside, remove it
carefully so as not to tear it.
NOTE: If the paper is torn, be sure to remove all
remnants or fragments from the cassette.
3 Close the left cover of the cassette.
