EcoPrintchangestonersaturation,makingtheentireimage,textandgraphics,
appearlighterintheprintedjob.Theactualamountoftoneruseddependson
theprintingsystemmodel,thetypeofdataprinted(text,graphics,orboth).

Acomputerfontisadatafilecontainingasetofglyphs(visualrepresentations
oftextualelements),characters,orsymbols.Commontermsforfontsare:
Bitmapfontsdefineeachcharacterasapatternofpixels(thesmallest
resolvablerectangularareasofanimage).Suchfontsarenoteasilyscalable
anddistortwhenreducedorenlarged.
Outlinefonts,incontrasttobitmapfonts,aredefinedasasetof
mathematicallinesandcurves.Anoutlinefontismoreeasilyscalable
(designedtodisplayandprintclearlyatanypointsize)thanabitmapfont.
Nativefontsarethebasicororiginalfontsinstalledwiththecomputer
operatingsystem.TrueTypefontsarethenativefontsusedbyWindows.
TrueTypefontsareatypeofscalableoutlinefonts.TrueTypehaslongbeen
themostcommonformatforfontsonWindows.
Systemfontsaretheprimaryfontsusedbytheoperatingsystem.Theyare
typicallyaccessedthroughanapplicationinterfaceorthroughacommonfont
dialogbox.
Devicefontsarestoredeitherpermanentlyortemporarilyintheprinting
systemmemory.
