Ellipse:Resistsopticaljump,whichiswhenareasofanimagethatshould
besmoothsuddenlybecomedarker.Anellipseshapeprovidesasmoother
gradationoftones.SelectEllipseforimageswithdarkareas.
Round:Resistsmoiréformationanddotgain.Moiréformationisan
unintendedpatternthatoccurswhentwoormorecolorsareprintedatthe
wrongangles.Thecorrectanglesdependonthenumberofcolorsbeing
printed.Dotgainiswhenthehalftonedotsincreasewhenprinted,causinga
moirépattern.SelectRoundforimageswithlighttintsandhighlightedareas.
Line:Usedforspecialeffect.SelectLinetochangetheeffectbyselectinga
differentangle.
Increaseaccuracyofscreens
Selectthisoptionforbetterprintquality,possiblyincreasingprinttime.
ThegrayscaleadjustmentsettingschangetheBrightnessandContrastof
graphics.Thesesettingsareusefulifgraphicimagesareprintingtoolight,too
gray,ortoodark.Textremainsunaffected.

brightnessandcontrastchanges.

DragtheBrightnesssliderrighttolighten,orlefttodarkenthegraphicimages
oftheprintjob.
Youcanalsochangebrightnessbyenteringanumericvalueinthetextboxat
theright.Thebrightestsettingis+100;thedarkestis-100.Zeroisthedefault
mid-levelsetting.Adjustingbrightnessisusefulwhengraphicimagesare
printingtoodarkortoolight.Textremainsunaffected.

DragtheContrastsliderrightorlefttoincreaseordecreasetheproportionof
lighttodarkinthegraphicimagesoftheprintjob.
Ahighcontrastsettingdecreasesthegrayscalespectrum,makinglightgrays
lighteranddarkgraysdarker.Alowcontrastsettingincreasesthegrayscale
spectrum,makinglightgraysdarkeranddarkgrayslighter.
Youcanalsochangecontrastbyenteringanumericvalueinthetextboxatthe
right.Thehighestcontrastsettingis+100;thelowestis-100.Zeroisthedefault
mid-levelsetting.Adjustingcontrastisusefulifgraphicimagesareprintingtoo
gray,ortooblackandwhite.Textremainsunaffected.
Printtextasblack
Thisoptionprintsallcolortextasblack.Itproducesfasterprintingofcolor
textbyreducingtheamountofdatasenttotheprinter.Inblackandwhite
printers,itincreasesthedetailforlight-coloredtextprinted.Whitetextand
imagecolorsareunaffected.
Printgraphicsasblack
Thisoptionprintsallcolorgraphicsandtextwithblack,ratherthan
grayscale.ThisfeatureisimplementedforCADapplications.
