imagesinbinaryformat.Itcanbeusedformosteverydayprintingneeds.
Documentportability
ThissettingcreatesaPostScriptfileinASCIItextencoding.Unlikethebinary
formatcreatedinFastprinting,theASCIItextcreatedwiththisselection
canbeedited.
HalftoneScreenletsanexperienceduserprintdifferentshadesofgrayasare
foundinphotographs.Shadesareproducedbyprintingdotsofvarioussizes
andshapes,andbyspacingthemcloserorfartherapart.Shadingcanalsobe
adjustedbythenumberofrowsofdata,theangleoftherows,andtheshapeof
thedata.
HalftoneScreenisavailablewhenKPDLisselectedasthePDL.Itis
unavailableifGDIcompatiblemodeisselectedinthePDLSettingsdialog
box.
HalftoneScreenprovidesameanstoapplyshadesofgraytoblackandwhite
printedoutput.
