Multi-cell Mode
The multi-cell mode expands on the small cell concept and may incorporate a larger range of processes and operations.
Larger, fully automated labs might include the following:
l A larger combination of the processes and stations listed in the discussion of a small cell mode operation. Fore more
information, see Small Cell Operation.
l One or more supervisory workstations.
l A conveyor system to move microplates and other material not only between stations, but into and out of the lab.
l Multiple robots, individually chosen and programmed to support a specific function or machine.
l Multiple Echo Liquid Handlers.
Note: Echo Admin Client allows the operator to change the IP address on the Echo instrument to match the integrator's
IPaddress. This is included with the Echo Server 2.6 disk.
