Possible causes for connection failure include:
l The Echo Liquid Handler has not completed its initialization.
l Check the gripper stage homing sequences, particularly the theta rotation of the destination gripper stage. For
more information, see Home Calibration.
l Check the door opening sequence.
l The Ethernet cable is not connected between the client PC and the Echo Liquid Handler.
l The Echo Liquid Handler software is not configured to connect to the instrument (IP address or hostname is missing or
incorrect).
Check for the cause, attempt to resolve the problem, and try to launch the software again. If the message persists, call Labcyte
Service and Support.
