5.11 Route Programming
5.11.1 Program a new Route
Be aware of the intended use before programming the Discovery (See chapter Intended
Use).
Preparation
1. Make sure you understand the requirements for setting up a good route (see Requirements for a
good Route on page 5-9).
2. Plan the route on a piece of paper.
3. Open the Lely Control app on the smartphone (see Start the Lely Control Application on page 5-5).
4. Stop the time path to take the machine out of operation (see Start or Stop the Time Path on page 5-
33).
Program
1. In the main menu of the Lely Control app, select Routes and push
.
2. Select the menu New route and push
.
3. The message SAFETY WARNING. Manual operation is permitted only with a clear overview of the
vehicle. Confirm? appears on the smartphone display.
4. Confirm if you have a clear overview of the machine.
If the machine is not connected to the charging station, you can push soft button
CHARGR to drive the machine to the charging station (see Drive the Machine to the
Charging Station on page 5-7).
5. Push soft button
START.
6. Read the messages on the display and push
(2×).
7. Program the first action (Wall flw L or Wall flw R) (see Follow a Wall (Left or Right) on page 5-21).
