4 Description
4.1 General
The MiniCODER and the ferromagnetic measuring scale form a measuring system.
The MiniCODER contactlessly scans the ferromagnetic measuring scale and ac-
quires the direction of rotation, rotational speed and position.
To ensure the correct function of the measuring system,
● The MiniCODER must match the module, the reference mark and the width of the
measuring scale
● The MiniCODER must be mounted symmetrically in relation to the measuring
scale
● A defined air gap must be maintained between the MiniCODER and the measur-
ing scale
