6.3.3 Checking function
The MiniCODER GEL 2444K P can be adjusted, analysed and
configured using the testing and programming unit GEL 211CS0.
Check the function of the MiniCODER using a suitable instrument, preferably an
oscilloscope.
Connect the MiniCODER to the instrument (→ page 74ff).
Connect the MiniCODER to the power supply (→ page 74ff).
Switch on the power supply.
Slowly rotate the target wheel and monitor the output signal on the instrument.
If function is correct an adequate sine wave or square-wave signal will be displayed
on the oscilloscope (→ page 55).
Switch off the power supply.
Remove the instrument and the power supply.
6.4 Connecting MiniCODER electrically
Cable routing!
Pay attention to the minimum bending radius so that the connection
cable is not damaged by excessive bending (→ page 68f).
Observe the instructions on electromagnetic compatibility while laying the cables
(→ page 51f).
Correctly connect the MiniCODER as per the pin layout (→ page 74ff).
