4 Description Lenord+BauerScope of supply
56 GEL 2444
English
Output signals are two square or sinusoidal signals offset by 90° for the detection of
the direction of rotation (tracks 1 and 2) and their inverse signals, optionally also with
a reference signal (track N). All signals are sent to the separate electronics via the
connection cable.
Separate electronics are required to supply the MiniCODER with power, to evaluate
the signals and to set up the control loop.
GEL 2444D
x oder GEL 2444T x (x = optional extras)
● For MiniCODERs with optional extras 1, the sum of the output signals for one full
revolution of the target wheel corresponds exactly to the number of teeth of the
target wheel.
● For MiniCODERs with optional extras 2, 4, 8, A, B, C, D, G, the sum of the output
signals for one full revolution of the target wheel corresponds to a multiple of the
number of teeth of the target wheel (optional extras 2, 4, 8, A, B, C, D, G corre-
sponds to multiple factor 2, 4, 8, 10, 12, 16, 20, 32).
If the MiniCODER is equipped with amplitude regulation (GEL 2444K
M ), it
regulates fluctuations in the sin/cos amplitudes on changes in the air gap and tem-
perature.
The MiniCODER GEL 2444K
S is not configurable.
The MiniCODER GEL 2444D
acquires and saves the total operating
time.
The configurable MiniCODER (GEL 2444K
P ) records the minimum tem-
perature, maximum temperature and rotational speed histogram; it can be can be ad-
justed, analysed and configured using the testing and programming GEL 211CS0.
Safety Integrated (IFA test report number 2013 23874)
MiniCODERs with sin/cos signals (GEL 2444K
) have been checked ac-
cording to Safety Integrated by the IFA in conjunction with Siemens Sinumerik control
systems.
