6.3.2 Mounting
► Remove the MiniCODER and the matching distance gauge from the packaging.
► Wet 2 screws M4 (recommendation: DIN 912 M4×10) with threadlocker to prevent
unintentional loosening.
► Fit the screws with spring washers and washers in the slots on the flange.
► Place the distance gauge on the target wheel in the installation space.
Only use the distance gauge supplied as a mounting aid. It will protect the
measuring surface against mechanical damage during assembly and ensure
the correct adjustment of the air gap.
► Fit the two guide lugs on the MiniCODER in the guide slot on the mounting surface
and slide it against the distance gauge.
► Fix the MiniCODER by tightening the two screws to the torque (M) of max.
2.5 Nm.

► Check again the air gap with the aid of the distance gauge.
► Remove the distance gauge and keep it in a safe place for subsequent removal or
adjustment.
