AutomaticPower-onfeatures
TheAutomaticPower-OnfeatureswithinthePowerManagementmenuallowyoutoenableanddisable
featuresthatturnonthecomputerautomatically.
WakeUponAlarm:Youcanspecifyadateandtimeatwhichthecomputerwillbeturnedon
automatically.Thiscanbeeitherasingleeventoradailyevent.
WakeonLAN:Ifthecomputerhasaproperlyconguredtoken-ringorEthernetLANadaptercardthatis
WakeonLAN-enabledandthereisremotenetworkmanagementsoftware,youcanusetheWakeonLAN
feature.WhenyousetWakeonLANtoEnabled,thecomputerwillturnonwhenitreceivesaspecic
signalfromanothercomputeronthelocalareanetwork(LAN).
ToenabletheWakeonLANfunctionortheWakeUponAlarmfunctionontheWindows8orWindows
8.1operatingsystem,dothefollowing:
1.OpenControlPanel.
2.ClickHardwareandSoundPowerOptions.
3.Intheleftpanel,dooneofthefollowing:
