5.4.3 Calibration with
sample weights or
simulator ( )
To calibrate using sample weights or simulator you need to follow the procedure
in menu. Follow the instructions as follows:
Once in the menu, press the button until the menu
and press to enter the menu.
Press at any time to cancel and return to the previous menu.
The display shows the message , because the system waits as
first data the full scale of the weighing system.
Press to start editing the data. It displays the full scale currently set,
with the first digit flashing.
Use the button to increase the digit and to move on to
editing the next one. Press to confirm.
At this point will appear on the display which is the decimal point
requires of the instrument.
Press to start editing the data. Display shows the full scale just set.
Use the button to select the decimal point position and press
to confirm and go to the next parameter.
The data later be requested is the value of zero scale. Is then displayed
the message .
In the case of using a simulator for calibration of load cells, the user must
bring it on the indication 0 mV/V.
In the case of calibration with sample weights, the user must instead
discharge the weighing system.
If you press , you see the actual value of the data weight, with
unloaded scale. If the indication is correct, press again to go to the
next parameter.
The data later be requested is the value of the sample weight. Is then
displayed the word .
In the case of calibration with simulator for load cells, the user must bring it
on the indication 2 mV/V (100% F.S.).
In the case of calibration with sample weights, the user must instead
indicate the chosen sample weight.
To maximize accuracy, it is recommended to apply a sample weight as close
as possible to the full scale and in any case not less than 50% of the same.
