In this application, the Loop-V 4200 MuxMaster is used as a digital access cross-connect system (DACS).
Up to 9 slots can be equipped with either E1 or T1 plug-in cards, or even mixed, wherein any time slot of any
port can be cross-connected to any time slot of any port, including itself. Performance monitoring and
maintenance functions, such as local and remote loop backs, are available.
