Chapter 3 Operation

3.14 Requesting Report
The performance report can be accessed from local terminal directly or from remote terminal via internet. In
both T1/D4 and ESF frame format mode, the performance report can be accessed from local terminal
directly or from remote terminal via internet.
Also, in ESF mode, performance report can be accessed via data link. User will choose either AT&T or ANSI
T1.403 data link operation in DS1 network line interface configuration. AT&T TR 54016 should be referred to
as how the performance report request message and response message are structured. ANSI T1.403 should
be referred to how the one second performance report message structured.
Loop-V 4200 supports both AT&T TR 54016 and ANSI T1.403 performance report message.
For the E1 link, remote terminal access via modem or Ethernet could be used.
