Clock Setup
If your application is receiving it’s master clock source from the working line, you must set the second clock
source to the backup line. This is necessary to prevent the loss of a clock source in the event of line failure.
Press ‘S’ from the Controller Menu to access the System Setup screen. Select “Clock” by moving the
asterisk with the ‘arrow’ keys. Then press ‘ENTER’.

>> Select System_setup Type ? MAP PORT_BACKUP SYSTEM *CLOCK
The System Setup (CLOCK) screen will appear. Use the ‘arrow’ keys and the ‘TAB’ keys to set up the clock
sources. In the example below, the Master Clk. Source is set to PORT_A because the working line is A.
The Second Clk. Source is set to PORT_B, because the protection line is B. Press ‘ESC’ to return to the
System Setup screen. A prompt (Change configuration (Y/N)?) will appear. Press “Y”. Press ‘ESC’ again
to return to the Controller Menu.
