6. Enter the user name and password (default user name and default password are
both set as “admin”), and then click “OK” to login to the switch confi guration
window.
Click any menu item on the left to view and/or modify the corresponding settings
or functions.
5.2 Status
Status: Displays the current system status of the XMS-1008P

Hardware Version: Hardware version of the switch

Firmware Version: Software version of the switch

DHCP Client: Status of the DHCP client, set at “Disable” by default

IP Address: 192.168.0.3 by default

Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0 by default

Gateway: 0.0.0.0 by default

MAC Address: MAC address of the switch

ARL Aging Time: Aging time of the MAC address table, 300 seconds by default
