When the updater is complete, close the pop-up window in your computer. Power cycle Hilo using the front panel standby
switch, wait three seconds, then turn the unit back on.
4. After programming, the computer may need to reload the driver. If you are prompted to do so, perform an automatic driver
installation when prompted.
6.2 Updating the LT-TB (Thunderbolt)
1. Prior to updating, insure that the Thunderbolt driver has been properly installed and is functional.

The LT-TB card has its own firmware update program that can be downloaded from the Lynx website. Visit
www.lynxstudio.com > Support > Downloads. Product = Lynx LT-TB.
3. Download the most recent firmware update file.
4.
Make sure that all audio software and the Hilo Remote are closed.
5.
Run the updater, and accept the defaults.

At the main updater welcome screen, make sure that the drop down menu for SELECT UNIT TO UPDATE is set to “LT-
TB”.
7. Verify that the New Firmware Version is higher than the Current Firmware Version. If so, click “Update”.

6.3 Updating the LT-DANTE
The updater for the LT-DANTE is provided by the manufacturer of the Dante Brooklyn II chip, Audinate. Therefore the process is
quite a bit different from the other LSLOT expansion cards. As it relies upon a third party updater program.
1.
Prior to updating, insure that Hilo appears normally from the Dante Controller application.
2.
Next, download the Brooklyn firmware update tool from: https://www.audinate.com/products/firmware-update-manager
3. Then download the latest firmware update file from www.lynxstudio.com > Support > Downloads. Product = Lynx LT-
DANTE. Save this file to a convenient location on the computer.
4.
Launch the Audinate Firmware Updater.
5.
Select the network adapter that is connected to the Dante network and press “Next”.
6.
Press the “Update Dante Firmware” button.
7.
Select the firmware update file downloaded in step 3, then press “Next”.
8.
After a few seconds, the LT-DANTE should appear. Check the box next to the LT-DANTE you wish to update.
9.
Press Start. The “Ready” column will change to “Updating”.
10.
When the updater is complete, close the Dante Firmware Update Manager. Power cycle Hilo using the front panel standby
switch, wait three seconds, then turn the unit back on.
