9. HORIZON3D Troubleshooting.
Problem
Solutions
No Power
1. Check if the AC or DC power cord is disconnected or loose.
No 3D effect
1. Check if the RUN button’s LED is blinking or 7-Segment LED isn’t displaying SYNC
frequency received from the projector.
(Example. SYNC frequencies are 48, 60, 72, 96Hz, and so on)
2. Check to ensure that the SYNC cable is properly connected to the GPIO Port of projector
3. Check if the screen is a silver screen (Recommended Gain is 2.4 or higher)
4. Check if the projection window is a tempered glass or low quality glass
If it is one of them, 3D effects are not generated by the distortion of 3D display
5. Check if the LCD, or Optic is damaged.
If is damaged, a double image or 3D ghosting appears.
3D double image,
Ghosting,
or Color Distortion
1. Check if the screen is a silver screen (Recommended Gain is 2.4 or higher)
2. Check if ensure that the upper and lower half image are properly aligned
3. If 3D ghosting seen only on 3D subtitles, it is because 3D subtitles are not properly
produced. Contact the subtitles production company.
4. Check if the LCD, or Optic is damaged.
If is damaged, double image, 3D ghosting, or distortion image appears
Reversed 3D effect
1. Put your 3D glasses on upside down.
2. If the image is reversed, re-configure “3D Sync Polarity=True or Inverted” of the 3D
setting in the projector title configuration.
No Moving Lift Column
Actuator
or Suddenly Frozen
1. Check if the lift column actuator cable is properly connected
2. If frozen suddenly, power-off the HORIZON3D and then power on.
3D&2D Button’s LED
Blinking Continuously
1. Press the 3D or 2D Button and the Lift Actuator Column will lower up to the Zero
Position automatically.
After moving, the Lift Actuator Column will activate normally
Not Open a Web Browser
1. Check the connection of LAN cable if the LINK LED does not light green
2. Check the network configuration of the HORIZON M if the ACT LED does not blink
orange
To check a IP address of the HORIZON M, following as below
i) Pull out the DC Power Jack(Power is Off)
ii) Press RUN button of the control panel from HORIZON M and Insert the DC Power
Jack. Then release RUN button as soon as the number is displayed on the 7-segment
LED
iii) Look and check a IP address on the segment LED like below figure
3. Check the network configuration of your computer
4. Check proxy setting of the web browser is set correctly
5. The computer does not provide TCP/IP protocol
Before contacting the nearest reseller/dealer or support@masterimage3d.com, check the below items.
1. Make sure that you have properly connected the HORIZON3D to peripheral equipment.
2. Check all cable connections. Make sure that all computer, projector, and power cords are properly connected.
3. If a problem still persists, check the following solutions.
