8.1 Chip encoding (contact and contactless)
The chip encoder is an optional module for the MC320x series that allows the encoding of chip cards and
contactless (smart cards).
Available chip & contactless encoding modules and related functionalities:
• Dual interface encoder module (Contact and Contactless cards) Code PR10300003
Enables the user to encode chip and contactless smart cards.
Install the module according to the instructions contained in the package.
8.2 7.2 Use of PC/SC encoder tests
To ensure that the dual interface is working, select ‘Perform PC/Sc encoder check’ from the tools menu & click ‘OK’.
Note: Test can only be performed with MC320x printer which has been installed with dual interface module PR10300003.
Follow the instruction provided in wizard & click next to continue.
