Check for correct clearances on vehicle to prevent interference between
vehicle and Liftgate. Refer to FIGS. 27-1 and 28-1, and TABLE 28-1.
NOTE: Make sure vehicle is parked on level ground with parking brake set while
preparing vehicle and installing Liftgate.
NOTE: Maximum operating bed height for trailer is is 60” (Unloaded).
Minimum bed height is 46” (Loaded).
On vehicle bodies equipped with swing-open doors, the platform
may have to be modifi ed to install this Liftgate.
NOTE: Dimensions are provided as reference for fi tting Liftgate to vehicle body.
For detailed ground clearance information, refer to the BOLT ON INSTAL-
LATION PLATE procedure in this manual.
