How does it work
When an IP panel stops to communicate with Extrium, after a definied periode of time, a timeout event
is sent by the IP Module to the monitoring software.
This event is a contact ID event containing the account number associated with the IP panel and a specific
alarm code.
Alarm code
Alarm code is fixed outside the contact ID reserved event code.
Currently it uses the following code:

How to use TCPtoCom with Extrium DT42
TcpToCom is a simple software that receive Extrium alarm event by TCP.
It creates a virtual COM port on your system.
Every alarm received by TCP will be sent to this virtual COM port.
To use it, install TcpToCom in your Windows system and start TcpToCom software.
