Remove Facer From Machine
Loosen facer locking bolts.
Lift facer out of the carriage and set on cardboard or wood blocks
off of the ground.
Remove rear guide rod bracket.
Attach rear guide rod bracket in the position shown.

Remove Carriage Assembly from the Chassis
This equipment is not explosion proof. Operation
of this equipment in an explosive atmosphere
without necessary safety precautions will result in
serious injury or death. See safety section.
The carriage can be easily removed from the machine for fusing
pipe on the ground or in the ditch. For especially tight conditions it
is also possible to remove the outer fixed jaws and skid. The facer
can be removed from the pivot shaft and used manually.
Remove Pin.
Attach lifting sling to the lifting point on the opposite jaw brace
and the manifold bracket, then lift the carriage assembly.
