Lower 3-Jaw or 4-Jaw Carriage into Ditch
Use all 4 jaws whenever possible. The three jaw unit should be
used only when space is not available for the entire carriage, such
as fusing onto a tee, an ell or doing saddle fusion
4-Jaw
Attach lifting sling to the manifold bracket and the far side lift
point.
Lift carriage assembly and lower into ditch.
3-Jaw
Attach lifting strap to the manifold bracket.
Lift carriage assembly and lower into ditch.

Remove top jaws from unit by pulling ball lock pins.
Attach lifting sling to lifting point.
Lift carriage assembly up and lower into ditch.
