iv. Try to connect to the same SSID using a different device.
v. From the dashboard website, ensure that:
1. The SSID was successfully created and its name shows up
after refreshing the network page.
2. The SSID does not have “hidden” checked, which creates a
network SSID hidden from external devices such as your
phone or laptop.
3. The frequency channel selection is legal - no red
exclamation point next to the channels are present.
vi. The production firmware may need to be updated - please
refer to section 9.b - Upgrading Node Firmware .
Issue 10: Cellular connectivity (Modem Mode) is not working on
the node.
i. The node being assessed must be turned on with at least
20% battery and its LED indicators visible.
ii. Verify that the SIM card has been activated by your carrier
for data access and successfully installed into the node. If
you need additional information on how to install a SIM card,
please visit section 10.a - Cellular: SIM Card Installation.
iii. If this is your first time connecting the node to Modem
Mode, ensure that at least 20 minutes has been given for the
LED indicators to turn purple after the SIM card has been
inserted and the node turned on.
iv. The production firmware may need to be updated - please
refer to section 9.b - Upgrading Node Firmware .
v. Ensure that cellular connectivity in the current installation
area is consistent and relatively strong.
