SWEEP scanning

(SWEEP) :
In this mode, specific symbols (grey in the view of the LCD above) are
used in addition to the symbols of the function generator :
Description
indicates that the unit is in scanning mode (SWEEP).
• Selection using the "SWEEP ON" key.
Selection using the "SWEEP SOURCE" key. Consecutive presses are
used to select the frequency scan:
• via internal control, "INT" displayed on the LCD.
• via external control, "EXT" displayed on the LCD.
Access using the "SWEEP MODE" key. Consecutive presses are used to
select the frequency scan law :
• the linear "LIN" law displayed on the LCD.
• the logarithmic "LOG" law displayed on the LCD.
s
indicates the duration of the scan in seconds "s".
• Selection using the "SWEEP TIME" key.
Frequency
LCD view with the symbols used in "FREQUENCY METER" mode
FREQ EXT
In this mode, the specific symbol (greyed in the LCD view) is used in
addition to " ", "GATE", "kHz", "MHz " described in the previous
paragraphs.
G Display of the measured frequency, on 5 digits.
indicates that the "FREQUENCY METER" function is activated ("FREQ
EXT" input).
• Selection using the "FREQ EXT" key.
