5 Cleaning
This chapter gives a description of the cleaning activities that must be carried out to
keep the machine in good condition and to facilitate safe and hygienic operation.
5.1 Cleaning preparations
• During cleaning you are advised to wear detergent- and disinfectant proof clothing.
Protect your eyes and skin.
• Ventilate the room in which you are working.
• After production, all products should be removed from the room in which the
machine is installed. Remove coarse dirt.
5.1.1 Disassembly/assembly for cleaning
The Meyn Vent cutter is so designed that daily cleaning can be performed without
disassembly.
Switch off the main switch of the machine before disassembly for cleaning.
