7.2.9 Length of the intestines
The length of the intestines X can be changed by changing the position of the main
shaft (see section about: adjust the knife unit cam).
• If X is too long more intestines get tangled around other machines in the
evisceration line.
• If X is too short there is a change that the opener will cut the vent off.
• Length X should be approximately 11/2 inch (31,75 mm). Normally this setting is
made with start-up of the machine and is not changed anymore.

• To make X shorter the shaft needs to
be turned against the running direction
of the machine.
• To make X longer the shaft needs to
be turned with the running direction of
the machine.
