Aninatingairbagcancausefacialabrasions
andotherinjuriesiftheoccupantistooclose
totheairbagatthetimeofitsdeployment.
Theinationpassageoftheairbagmust
befreeofanyobstructions.Donotplace
anyobjectsbetweenpassengersandairbags.
Itisprohibitedtoxorplaceanyobjects
onthesteeringwheelcover,oron/near
theinstrumentpanelfrontalairbagscover.
DONOTafxorplaceanyobjectson,
oradjacenttotheairbags.Ifthereisan
obstaclebetweenthepassengerandairbag,
theairbagmaynotinateproperly,orthe
airbagwillsqueezetheobstacleintothe
passenger'sbody,causingseriousinjuryor
evendeath.
Afterdeploymentoftheairbag,airbags

relatedcomponentsatbothsidesofthe
roofrailsabovethesteeringwheeland/or
instrumentpanelandfrontandreardoors
willbecomeveryhot.Donottouchairbag
relatedcomponentsimmediatelyafterthe
airbagsaredeployedtoavoidinjuries.
DONOTknockorstrikethepositionwhere
airbagsorrelatedpartsarelocated,soas
toavoidaccidentalairbagdeploymentwhich
maycauseseriousinjuryorevendeath.
Intheeventofacollision,theairbagcontrolmodule
monitorstherateofdecelerationoraccelerationinduced
bythecollision,todeterminewhethertheairbagsshould
bedeployed.Airbagdeploymentisvirtuallyinstantaneous
andoccurswithconsiderableforce,accompaniedbya
loudnoise.
Whenvehiclesencounterseriousfrontalcollision,
completelydeployedairbagswithcorrectlywornseat
beltscanlimitthemovementofdriverandfrontpassenger,
andreducetheriskofheadandchestinjury.Forvehicles
