IMPORTANT
•Obstructionsbetweenanairbagandtheoccupant
mayaffectthecorrectdeploymentoftheairbag.
Obstructionsmustnotinterferewiththeairbag
inationpassages.Accessoriesmustnotbeattached
toorobscureanairbag.
•Frontseatpassengersshouldnotplacefeet,knees
oranyotherpartofthebodyincontactwith,orin
closeproximityto,afrontairbag.
•Aninatingairbagcancausefacialabrasionsand
otherinjuriesiftheoccupantistooclosetothe
airbagatthetimeofitsdeployment.
FrontSeatSideAirbags
Ensuresufcientdistanceexistsbetween
thedriverandfrontpassengers’torsosand
thesideofthevehicletoensurecorrect
deploymentofthefrontsideairbags.
Frontseatsideairbagsaredesignedtoprotecttheheadand
chestandwillbedeployedintheeventofthecarreceiving
aseveresideimpact.Itwillnotbedeployedintheevent
ofafrontorrearimpact.
Intheeventofasevereimpactononesideofthevehicle,
theseatsideairbagwillbedeployedfromthesideofthe
seat,onthatsideofthevehicle,toprovideacushionofair
toprotectthefrontseatoccupant.Theseatsideairbagon
theothersideofthevehiclewillnotbedeployed.
Seatswithsideairbagscanbeidentiedbyan‘Airbag’
markingonthesideoftheseatbackrest.
