  If your Micom Transceiver displays 'BATTERY FAIL ERROR 11', the radio has an internal battery that enables the memory to store the last channel information that was used before the radio was turned off. If this battery becomes weak, it will display this warning. When the battery is dead, all the channel information will be retained, but the radio will always use channel 1 when you turn the radio on.
