Explorer. And when it’s time to get some work done, Surface is loaded with Office Home & Student 2013 RT
Preview, which includes touch optimised versions of Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and OneNote.

 Word A word processing program designed to help you create professional-quality documents.
 Excel A powerful tool for getting meaning out of data, making calculations, and tracking almost any kind
of information.
 OneNote A digital notebook that provides a single place for all of your notes—everything you need to
remember and manage in your life. In addition to the OneNote desktop app, a free OneNote app is
available in the Windows Store. Find out more about this in the next section.
 PowerPoint A program for creating presentations that convey a message or story in a series of slides.
