Using the minute minder
The minute minder can be used to time
other activities in the kitchen,
e.g.boiling eggs.
The minute minder can also be used at
the same time as a cooking programme
for which the start and finish times have
been set, e.g. as a reminder to stir a
dish or add seasoning etc.
The maximum minute minder time that
can be set is 9hours, 59minutes and
59seconds.
Useful tip: Use the minute minder with
MChef + Moisture Plus and with
Moisture Plus to remind you to
release the bursts of steam manually at
the desired time.
Setting the minute minder
If QuickTouch| Off has been selected,
you will need to switch on the Dialog
oven before setting the minute minder.
The minute minder can then be seen
counting down in the display when the
oven is switched off.
Example: You want to boil some eggs
and set a minute minder time of 6
minutes and 20 seconds.
Select .
Select New minute minder time.
Set the minute minder time you
require.
Confirm with OK.
When the Dialog oven is switched off,
the minute minder time counts down in
the display and appears instead of
the time of day.
If you are cooking at the same time or if
you are in a different menu, the minute
minder time and will appear in the
top right-hand corner of the display.
At the end of the minute minder time,
will flash and the time will start counting
up. A buzzer will sound if buzzer tones
are switched on.
Touch or the minute minder time in
the top right-hand corner of the
display.
The buzzer will stop and the symbols in
the display will go out.
