Pre-heating
Pre-heating is automatically activated in
all MChef functions, except when you
set the programme to switch on and
switch off automatically.
A rapid heating-up phase brings the
oven to the set temperature by
switching the top heat/grill element on
at the same time as the ring element
and the fan.
Gourmet Units are not used during the
heating-up phase. As soon as food is
placed in the oven, it is heated up and
browned from the outside by the
heating elements and Gourmet Units
are added.
Use the Dialog oven cookbook for
guidance.
Deactivating pre-heating
Place the food in the oven.
Select the function, temperature,
Gourmet Units and Intensity (if
necessary).
To deactivate pre-heating, select
Change.
Select Open further settings.
Select Pre-heat.
Off will appear in the Pre-heat field.
Confirm with OK.
The oven heating will switch on and
Gourmet Units will be added during the
heating-up phase. This stops in the
following instances:
A maximum value of 2000 Gourmet
Units has been reached.
You interrupt the addition of Gourmet
Units by selecting Stop.
You end the cooking programme.
