Chapter 4 Maintenance
MAINTENANCE MENUs at-a-glance

STATION
For carrying out maintenance on the carriage and station periphery.
CARRIAGE OUT

Moves the carriage out, for carrying out cleaning of the cap periphery,
head, wipers, etc.
REPLACE Waste Ink
Tank
(P.4-12)
Resets or corrects the used count for the waste ink tank.
DISWAY WASH
(P.4-12)
Wash the ink discharge passage
Replace WIPER/
WIPER Absorber
(P.4-19)
Used when replacing the rubber wiper and absorber.
The wiper usage counter managed by the machine is reset when the
rubber wiper is replaced (not displayed if the suction wiper is currently
in use).
NOZZLE WASH
(P.4-9)
1 to 10 min
Soaks the nozzle surfaces in maintenance liquid , for carrying out
recovery from nozzle clogging or bent.
CUSTODY WASH
(P.4-12)
1 to 10 min
Carried out when the machine is going to be out of use for an extended
period. Washes the nozzles and tubes beforehand, to keep the
machine in fine condition.
REPLACE WIPER
WASTE TANK
( P.4-17)
Displayed only when the suction wiper is in use.
The suction wiper waste fluid counter managed by the machine is reset
when the wiper waste ink tank is replaced.
NOZZLE
RECOVERY
(P.4-16)
For using another nozzle for printing when any nozzle cannot be recovered.
PRINT Prints a pattern, to identify the nozzle that is clogged.
ENTRY Registers the faulty nozzle identified by “PRINT”.
RESET Resets a registered faulty nozzle.
UV LAMP
(P.4-17)
UV USED TIME
This displays the total time for which each of the UV lamps has been
illuminated.
Overflow
(P.4-17)
For discharging excessive ink in the sub tank to solve the ink overflow problem.
Automatic 
Maintenance
(P.4-18)
For having the various maintenance functions executed automatically. Set the execution interval for each
maintenance function.
REFRESH OFF For setting the activation interval for refresh.
CLEANNING INTV 12h For setting the activation interval for the head cleaning.
Water FillUp

For supplying hot water.

Perform when a large amount missing nozzle is not restored.
