Perform it if a large amount of missing nozzle is not
recovered or a nozzle missing occurs immediately after
cleaning.

(MENU)
in LOCAL mode.

Press to select “ MAINTENANCE ”,
and press the key.
• MAINTENANCE MENU will be displayed.

Press to select “SUB TANK
MAINTENANCE”, and press the
key.
• “SUB TANK MAINTENANCE” will be selected.

Press to select the mode, then
press the key
• Normal: Discharge half of the ink in the sub tank
Then replace with new ink.
• Hard: Discharge all the ink in the sub tank.
Replace with new ink.

Press to select "Head" and
press (

)
• After selecting "Head" press and check
the check box.
Sub tank maintenance will be performed only for
the checked ones.

Press the key.
• Executes "SUB TANK MAINTENANCE".
White maintenance
Perform when a large number of white missing nozzles
cannot be restored even after cleaning or when a white
missing nozzle occurs immediately after restoration.

and press the key.
• MAINTENANCE MENU will be displayed.

Press to select “WHITE
MAINTAIN”, and press the key.
• “WHITE MAINTAIN” will be selected.

Press the key.
• Executes "WHITE MAINTAIN".
Cleaning the Ink Head
and the Area around It
Because the ink head employs a very precise
mechanism, due care needs to be taken when it is
cleaned.
Using a cleaning swab, etc., rub off gelatinous ink or dust
that may stick to the lower part of the slider and the area
around the ink head.In doing so, never rub the nozzles of
the head.

• MAINTENANCE MENU will be displayed.

Press the key.
• “CARRIAGE OUT” will be selected.

Press , and press the key.
• Carriage will move to the left end of this machine.

Open the maintenance cover.
Tools required for cleaning
• UJ Cleaning swab • Gloves
• Safety glasses • F-200/LF-200
Maintenance liquid
• Weak adhesive tape (Drafting tape, etc.)
• Be sure to wear the included safety glasses and
gloves when cleaning the area around the ink
head.Otherwise, you may get ink in your eyes.
• The ink contains organic solvent.If you get the ink
on your skin or in your eyes, wash it away with
plenty of water immediately.
