Safety Precautions 1-9
NOTE:
Read the following precautions to prevent the probe from malfunction:
Before connecting or disconnecting the probe, freeze or turn off the diagnostic
ultrasound system.
Clean and disinfect the probe before and after each examination.
After the examination, wipe off the ultrasound gel thoroughly. Otherwise, the
ultrasound gel may solidify and the image quality would be degraded.
Ambient conditions:
1. To prevent the probe from being damaged, do not use it where it will be exposed
to:
Direct sunlight or X-rays
Sudden changes in temperature
Dust
Excessive vibration
Heat generators
2. Use the probes under the following ambient conditions:
ambient temperature: 0°C to 40°C
relative humidity: 30% to 85% (no condensation)
atmospheric pressure: 700 hPa to 1060 hPa
3. Use the SP5-1E/C6-2GE/LM14-6E/L9-3E/V11-3HE probe under the following
ambient conditions:
ambient temperature: 0°C to 40°C
relative humidity: 20% to 85% (no condensation)
atmospheric pressure: 700 hPa to 1060 hPa
4. Use the L14-5WE probe under the following ambient conditions:
ambient temperature: 0°C to 35°C
relative humidity: 15% to 80% (no condensation)
atmospheric pressure: 700 hPa to 1060 hPa
5. Use the DE10-3E/DE11-3E probe under the following ambient conditions:
ambient temperature: 18°C to 30°C
relative humidity: 30% to 85% (no condensation)
atmospheric pressure: 700 hPa to 1060 hPa
6. Use the D6-2NE probe under the following ambient conditions:
ambient temperature: 15°C to 40°C
relative humidity: 30% to 85% (no condensation)
atmospheric pressure: 700 hPa to 1060 hPa
7. Use the L16-4HE/D7-2E probe under the following ambient conditions:
ambient temperature: 10°C to 40°C
relative humidity: 30% to 85% (no condensation)
atmospheric pressure: 700 hPa to 1060 hPa
8. Use the D8-2E probe under the following ambient conditions:
ambient temperature: 18°C to 30°C
relative humidity: 10% to 90% (no condensation)
atmospheric pressure: 700 hPa to 1060 hPa
Repeated disinfection will eventually damage the probe, please check the probe
performance periodically.
