Troubleshooting Check...
In case of particular problem, we recommend that you contact your system opera-
tor.
Fault detected Possible causes
No display Check that the set is connected to the line (dial tone in the
earpiece).
Check the cord to connect to the line.
Check that the other sets in the installation are working.
Check the screen contrast setting.
No dial tone Check that the set is connected to the line (display).
Check the cord to connect the handset.
Check that the other sets in the installation are working.
Check the handset, loudspeaker or headset volume settings.
No sound Check the handset, loudspeaker or headset volume settings.
Check audio mode (menu: Terminal audio setting).
No outside access Check that you have the right to make outside calls.
Check that your terminal is not locked or that your have entered
the right password.
Messages
displayed in a
foreign language
Check the chosen display language.
No reception of
voice messages
Check your connection to a voicemail system.
Check the recording of your voice signature or greeting message.
Check that call forwarding to your voice mailbox is enabled.
