8.18 Functions with an Extension Module Connected
(c) Operation when an error occurs
Depending on whether the remote I/O signals of the extension I/O module are used as general-purpose I/O
signals or assigned for the external signal assignment function, the operation of the A/D converter module for
an error differs as shown in the following table.
*1 When the external signal assignment function is used, the operation of the A/D converter module is the same as that of
when the CLEAR is set for the digital output HOLD/CLEAR setting function, even if HOLD is set.
*2 When "HOLD" is set to Digital output HOLD/CLEAR setting, the Y signal of an extension digital output module is held at
the time of disconnection or CPU module STOP.
For different types of errors, the resulting error condition follows the following order of priority:
• Major error > Moderate error > Minor error > In disconnection, or the CPU module being in STOP status
