Appendix 4 I/O Conversion Characteristics of A/D
Conversion
The I/O conversion characteristics of A/D conversion are expressed by the slope of the straight line connecting the
offset value and the gain value, both of which are used when an analog signal from outside the programmable
controller (voltage or current input) is converted to the corresponding digital value.
(1) Offset value
An analog input value (voltage or current) which turns 0 as a digital output value after conversion
(2) Gain value
An analog input value (voltage or current) which turns 16000 as a digital output value after conversion
