REAR WHEEL
CAUTION
Disassembling and reassembling the
rear wheel may prove difficult; these
operations are best left to experienced
mechanics.
If necessary, contact a Moto Guzzi Au-
thorized Dealer.
WARNING
Riding with damaged rims may be
dangerous for the rider, other persons
and the vehicle.
Check the conditions of the wheel rim
and change it if damaged.
FRONT BRAKE CALIPER
WARNING
The disassembly and reassembly of the
front brake calipers can be difficult for
those unfamiliar with vehicle
maintenance. You may wish to have your
Local Moto Guzzi Dealer carry out
these operations.
If you wish to perform these operations
yourself, read p. 71 (MAINTENANCE)
carefully.
WARNING
A dirty disk will soil the pads, leading to
loss of braking efficiency. Dirty pads
must be replaced, while dirty disks
must be cleaned with a high-quality
degreaser.
CAUTION
When disassembling and reassembling,
be careful not to damage the brake
hoses, the disks and the pads.
NOTE To remove the front brake
caliper, the vehicle must be kept upright
and safely supported, with the front wheel
raised off the ground.
