CUSTOM
MCUs
The information required when ordering a custom MCU
is
listed below. The
ROM
program may
be
transmitted
to
Motorola on EPROM(s) or
an
MDOS disk file.
To initiate a
ROM
pattern
for
the MCU
it
is
necessary
to
first contact your local Motorola repre-
sentative or
Motorola distributor.
12.9.1 EPROMs
The MCM2716
or
MCM2532 type EPROMs, programmed
with
the customer program (positive logic
sense for address and data), may be submitted for pattern generation. The
EPROM
must be clearly
marked
to
indicate which EPROM corresponds
to
which address space. The recommended marking
procedure for
two
MCM2716 EPROMs
is
shown
in
Figure 12-1.
