WARNING! Test alternators either outdoors or in premises equipped either with a supply-and-
extract ventilation or an exhaust system.
5.1. Diagnostics of 12V alternators for Stop-Start Systems
Diagnostics of alternators for Stop-Start systems is almost the same as for COM-type units except
for the connection of a diagnostic cable.
A connection diagram for Valeo IST60C017 is shown as an example in Fig.25.
