7. Separate the Remote Head from the chute. See Fig-
ure 9.10.
8. Install the chute by following the previous steps in
reverse order.
NOTE: Some early production units with a remote head
had Flange Keepers. If there were Flange Keepers
on the discharge chute remove and discard them.
Do not install them when installing the chute.
9. Test run the snow thrower in a safe area before
returning it to service.
