3.6 Individual Operations of Maintenance
3.6.7 Cleaning of the water separator
• If the red ring leaves the bottom, pour out water from the
separator.
• Close stop cock (3).
• Unscrew the lter housing (2).
• Clean lter element (1).
• Screw the lter housing (2) on.
• Open stop cock (3).
• Turn the ignition on. The fuel pump bleeds the system au-
tomatically.
No smoking at work!
Check the tightness of the water separator.
Avoid leakage of liquid to the soil.
3.6.8 Scrapers
• Before driving, adjust the drum scraper so that there is
a clearance of about 5 mm between the drum and the
scraper.
