Youcansetupyourdevicetoautomaticallyrebootitself.Youcanalsosetupthedevicetorecordandreport
Syslogmessagesthatcanhelpyouresolveissuesyoumightexperiencewithyourdevice.Todoso:
FromAdministration,selectDebugOptions.
Automaticallyrebootingthedevice
Tospecifytheamountoftimethatpassesbeforethedeviceautomaticallyrebootsitself:
1. IntheAutoRebootTimerfield,typethenumberofhoursthatlapsebeforethedeviceautomatically
rebootsitself.Therangeyoucanenteris0to999.
2. IfyoudoNOTwantthedevicetoautomaticallyreboot
,setthetimeto0.Thedefaultsettingis0.
ConfiguringSyslog
ToenableandconfigureSyslogtocaptureandsendmessagesfromyourdevice:
1. ToactivateSyslog,checkEnabled.
2. Toenablearemoteservertoreceiveandstoretherouter'slogdata,intheIPAddressfield,typetheIP
addressofthedesiredserver.
3. Todeterminetheamountoflo
ginformationthatiscollecte
d,intheDebugLogLevel,typethevalue
thatrepresentsthetypeofinformationyouwanttolog.Allmessageswithapriorityleveluptothe
givenvaluearelogged.
Forexample,ifyousettheloglevelto6allmessageswithapriorityfrom0thro
ugh6arelogged,and
messageswithaprioritylevelof7areignored.
