Adjusting the Belt Tension
Ifthewalkingbeltstartstoslipduringuse,itisnecessarytoadjustthetension.Yourtreadmillhastensionboltsattherearof
the treadmill.
1. Beforeyouadjustthebelttension,startthetreadmillbypushingtheSTARTbutton.
Besurenottotouchthewalkingbeltorsteponthepowercord.Keepbystandersandchildrenawayfromtheproduct
you are servicing at all times.
2. Usea6mmhexkeytoturntherightandleftbeltadjustmentboltsclockwisea1/2turn,firstoneboltandthentheother
bolt until the belt does not slip.
3. Afteryouadjusteachsidethe1/2turn,doatesttoseeifthebeltstoppedslipping.Ifthebeltstillslips,dosteps2and3
again.
Ifyouturnonesidemorethantheother,thebeltwillmoveawayfromthatsideofthetreadmillandmayneedrealignment.
NOTICE: Too much tension on the belt causes unnecessary friction and wears the belt, motor and electronics.
4. PushPAUSE/STOPtwicetostopthewalkingbeltandendtheQuickStartworkout.

Aligning the Walking Belt
Thewalkingbeltshouldbecenteredonyourtreadmillatalltimes.Runningstyleandanon-levelsurfacecancausethebeltto
moveoffcenter.Minoradjustmentstothe2boltsattherearofthetreadmillarenecessarywhenthebeltisoffcenter.
TheedgesoftheWalkingBeltshouldbeundertheSideFootSupportRails.IfanedgeoftheWalkingBeltcanbe
viewed,besuretoadjusttheWalkingBeltuntiltheedgesarenotviewableandarebelowtheSideFootSupportRails.
1. PushtheSTARTbuttontostartthewalkingbelt.
Besurenottotouchthewalkingbeltorsteponthepowercord.Keepbystandersandchildrenawayfromtheproduct
you are servicing at all times.
2. Standattherearofthetreadmilltoseewhichdirectionthebeltmoves.
3. Ifthebeltmovestotheleft,turntheleftbeltadjustmentbolt1/4turnclockwiseandtherightbeltadjustmentbolt1/4turn
counterclockwise.
Ifthebeltmovestotheright,turntheleftadjustmentbolt1/4turncounterclockwiseandtherightadjustmentbolt1/4
turn clockwise.
4. Monitorthepathofthebeltforapproximately2minutes.Continuetoadjusttheboltsuntilthewalkingbeltiscentered.
5. PushPAUSE/STOPtwicetostopthewalkingbeltandendtheQuickStartworkout.
