Replacing the Power Supply
If a power supply is defective, the SERVICE LED on the disk array unit front
panel lights orange (see Figure 1-7). In addition, the POWER FAULT LED on
the power supply lights orange (see Figure 1-9, B). The defective power supply
may be replaced with the power of the disk array unit remaining ON.
Note: Complete the power supply replacement
within five minutes. If the time exceeds five minutes, the
protective feature of the disk array unit triggers the
shutdown sequence.
Replacement Procedure
1. Identify the faulty power supply with the "POWER FAULT" LED lit.
2. Turn off the power switch of the faulty power supply. See Figure 3-16.

3. Unlatch the power cord retainer clip as shown in Figure 3-17 to release and
unplug the power cord.
