Caution: The SpaceLabs monitor must be turned on before
the
N-395 monitor is turned on.
The SpaceLabs monitor requires a U~iiversal FlexPort TM
interface module to interface with the N-395 pulse oximeter.
The
RS-232 hardwire interface cable has a DB- 15 coimector
for the N-395 and the applicable coniiector for the SpaceLabs
FZexPort interface module cable. Nellcor cable part number
03634
1 is recoinmended for this interface.

Spare parts for the N-395 are listed on the Internet,
confirm the cable part
number before orderiiig a cable.

Corrupt data will be indicated by a Communications Error
displayed
011 the SpaceLabs monitor. The SpaceLabs monitor
will detect corrupt data in less than
11 seconds.
When the N-395 is in the SpaceLabs mode of operatioil the
interface baud rate must be set to 9,600 bits per second.
Pressing the SETUP
softkey, then the NEXT softkey, and then
the
COMM softkey to select BAUD. Use the ADJUST UP or
ADJUST DOWN buttons to select the correct baud rate.
