SENSOR OFF
-
The sensor has become disconnected from the
patient. Press the
ALARM
SILENCE Button to silence the
alarm. Check the sensor to patient connection. If this does not
correct the problem, replace the sensor.
DISALLOWED ON BATTERY
-
An attempt to print or
download data port information while operating on battery power
has been made. Connect to AC power and retry.
DISALLOWED ON LOW BATTERY
-
An attempt to turn on
the backlight has been made while in a low battery condition. If
the backlight is turned off during a low battery condition, it
cannot be turned back on.
READING TRENDS
-
The monitor
is
gathering trend
information for display.
INVALID SILENCE DURATION
-
An attempt has been made to
set the alarm silence duration power-on default to "OFF." The
power-on default cannot be set to "OFF."
INVALID
Sp02 LIMIT
-
An attempt has been made to set either
the upper or lower alarm limit power-on default below
80.
The
power-on default cannot be set below
80.
Suggested Corrective
Actions
If you experience a problem while using the N-395 and are
unable to correct it, contact qualified service personnel or your
local
Mallinckrodt representative. The N-3
95
service manual,
which
is
for use by qualified service personnel, provides
additional troubleshooting information.
Following is a list of possible errors and suggestions for
correcting them.
1.
There is no response to the POWER ONIOFF Button.
If operating on AC power, ensure that the supply
voltage selector switch is set to the proper voltage.
If operating on AC power, the fuse may be blown.
Notify service
personilel to check and, if necessary,
replace the fuse.
